Rallies 2010
A rally is where members of the club get together for the weekend. Different themes and activities are arranged by the marshals such as fancy dress. In the evenings, socials are held where games and quizzes are put on. Rallies are fun for all ages.

6th February - Noggin 'N' Natter
Ansty Working Mens Club
Starts 7:30pm so come along and catch up with friends old and new before the start of the season. It will be a good time to hand in your rally slips and we will also be presenting the Club Person of the Year Trophy.

12th - 14th February (Valentines)
Upton Barn (Limited Rally)
Come and be loved up at this very popular site. The Saturday night social will be a romantic two course meal held in the bar and restaurant.
Directions:
From Coventry take M69 to Jct1. Turn left onto A5 continue until you reach A444. Turn right at Royal Red Gate pub. Continue through Fenny Drayton then take 2nd turn right. Postcode: CV13 6JX.

2nd - 6th April (Easter)
Naseby Village Hall (Cancelled)
This Rally has been cancelled. Theme James Bond Weekend. We are licensed to thrill so come and join 007, Q, M and Miss Moneypenny for an easter weekend of fun and games. The Saturday night social will be held in the hall. Dress to impress in the true Bond style - an American supper will be shaken not stirred! Lots of fun activities for the young ones.
Directions:
From Coventry take M6 south, then onto A14. At Jct1 take turn for Welford, follow the slip road. At T-junction turn left towards Thornby. After approx. 1 mile turn left SP Naseby. Continue through village turning right on the sharp left hand bend at the end of the village. Site entrance just past village hall.

30th April - 3rd May (May Day)
Barnstones, Banbury (Limited Rally) Fully Booked
This rally is fully booked. Theme VE Day Celebrations. Come and join us to celebrate the 65th anniversary of VE Day. We will be going back in time to the days when Vera Lynn had the X-factor and spam was on everyone's menu. On Saturday have a wander round the picturesque village of Bourton or spend some money in Banbury. Then rool out the barrel and have a sing song and fish 'n' chip supper in the village hall. Sunday we will be having an american supper street party (1945's dress optional), so dust off your gas masks and polish your tin helmets and come and have some war-time fun.

From Coventry take A423 towards Banbury. After 1st SP for Cropredy take next left SP Great Bourton and Cropredy. Site is immediately on right. Postcode: OX17 1QU.

28th - 31st May (Whitsun Weekend)
Bourton On The Water Football Club
We return to this site at members' request. Five minutes from the centre of one of the most beautiful villages in the cotswolds, with the stream running through it where the children can paddle their feet or try and catch a fish. You can visit Birdland, the model village, Christmas shop or see Brum in the car museum. At the back of the site there are some lovely walks and the clubhouse is open over the weekend. If you haven't been before, it is well worth the visit.
Directions:
A46 to A429 Stow-on-the-Wolds. Pass through Stow and continue for approx. 3 miles, then turn left towards Bourton. Once in Bourton head for Birdland. Just after Birdland take next turning on the left SP Football Club. Postcode: GL54 2AQ.

11th - 13th June
North Kilworth Sports Club
A nice level site in the centre of the village. There is a friendly clubhouse on site for our use over the weekend. Lutterworth and Rugby are only a short drive away or you can stroll along the towpath at Foxton Locks. The pub will be open for Englands first match in the World Cup with hot dogs and burgers provided. There will also be a bouncy castle for the kids.

From Lutterworth take the A4303 into North Kilworth. In North Kilworth turn right SP South Kilworth, site is on right.

25th - 27th June
Meon View, Shipston On Stour
The site with its beautiful scenery has lots of walks, and to recover, the pub is only a stroll away. Shipston, Broadway and Evesham are only a short drive away.
Directions:
From Stratford go over river bridge and right towards Shipston. At 2nd exit go to the next roundabout, then after 50 metres onto B4632. After about 5 miles you pass a petrol station on the right, take next left on bend (wide grass verge) SP Upper Quinton. Site on right past bungalow driveway. Postcode: CV37 8LG.

2nd - 4th July
Cottage Of Content, Bidford On Avon
The rally field is situated behind a nice friendly village pub which serves good meals. Stratford-upon-Avon is not far away, or you can go to Wellesbourne market on the Saturday. Take a walk beside the river to Bidford and have a look in the village shops or sit and have some fish 'n' chips.
Directions:
From Stratford take B439 towards Evesham. At Bidford turn left onto B439. Go over bridge, turn left to Barton. Site is on left behind public house.

16th - 18th July
Ingles Caravan Park, Ashby De La Zouch
Situated on a 200 acre working farm in the heart of the new National Forest, with 130 acres of newly planted woodland to get lost in. Burton, Nottingham and Derby are all close by for shopping or sightseeing. Click Here for Ingles Hill Website.
Directions:
From Coventry take the M42 east. Continue on the A42 leaving at Jct13. Take the A511 towards Burton. At third island turn left towards Ashby. Continue on past Ivanhoe Country Store and the Annwell Inn on the left. The farm is at top of hill. Postcode: LE65 2TE.

30th July - 1st August
Riverside Caravan Park, Stratford Upon Avon
This is a nice site on the banks of the River Avon, which has a clubhouse, shop and cafe where they serve breakfasts and evening meals ar very reasonable prices. There is a water taxi service into Stratford where you can shop or visit the Shakespeare attractions.
Directions:
A46 to Stratford, bear left over river, then left at small island onto B4086 Tiddington Road. Site on left opposite the new NFU building. Postcode: CV37 7AB.

6th - 8th August
Willows Farm, Tamworth (Chinese Auction)
Back by popular demand the Chinese Auction. Can each person on the rally bring a prize up to the value of £3, then all will be revealed. The site is set in pleasant countryside very close to Tamworth with its castle and street market, and is also near to Twycross Zoo.
Directions:
A5 to Atherstone bypass then take B4116 north towards Sheepy Magna. Turn left by Red Lion pub onto B5000 towards Polesworth. In 1.5 miles fork right and in 0.5 mile turnright at crossroads. Site on left. Postcode: B79 0HS.

20th - 22nd August
Gate Inn, Nether Whitacre
We are on the field at the back of the pub where they do very good meals, the field is flat and there is a children's play area. Just 5 minutes away, there is Whitacre Garden Centre for all your gardening needs and Kingsbury Water Park if you fancy doing a bit of water sport.

From Coventry take A4098 SP Tamworth. At Whitacre Garden Centre go straight on, then left at the Gate Inn. Entrance to field is on the right.

27th - 30th August (Bank Holiday)
Water Festival, Upton On Severn
Join us for a weekend of entertainment and fun. You can take a boat trip or visit the many market stalls. There is the evening fireworks and laser show and on Monday a giant car boot sale.
Directions:
From Coventry take the M42, then M5 to Jct7. Join the A38 south to junction with A4104. Turn right towards Upton upon Severn. After crossing the river carry on up the high street, do not turn towards the river front. At the fire station look for slip road on right but take second turn. Postcode: WR8 0HA.

10th - 12th September
Five Ways Lakes, Wolvey
We return to this popular site in 25 acres just outside the village of Wolvey. The site has two magnificent fishing lakes with fish weighing in at 30lb, a cafe serving breakfasts and light meals and a shop. It also has a new heated toilet and shower block. For children there is a new adventure playground and bouncy castle. If you are not keen on fishing there are street markets in Nuneaton and Hinckley, the golf course and driving range, and walks along the canal towpath at Ansty.

From Coventry M6 Jct2 take the B4065 through Ansty and Shilton. Over the traffic lights in Shilton and in approx. 2 miles the site is on the right. Postcode: LE10 3LD.

24th - 26th September
North Kilworth Gliding Club (Charity Rally)
This is our charity rally in aid of the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. We are near to the village of North Kilworth. Close by is the golf club, Husbands Bosworth and Market Harborough. The gliding club will be giving a discount to anyone who fancies a lesson. We will be on the field unless it is wet, then we will be on the runway (Red marker lights for the top of caravans will be provided!).

If you have anything for a bottle tombola or a normal tombola please give donations to Margaret Waring or Shirley Reeves. Debbie Little will be running a book stall so if you have any spare books please hand them to her or Margaret.

8th - 10th October (AGM)
Noon Hill Farm, Ansty
This is an ideal venue for an entertaining weekend. It is hoped for a skittles night on Friday at Ansty WMC. The club will then be providing entertainment on the Saturday night after the AGM meeting.

22nd - 24th October (Halloween)
Fillongley Village Hall
You are invitedto the scariest weekend of the season. We have had witches and ghosts join us before, especially at the American supper on Saturday and in the children's fancy dress. The pumpkin competition really comes to life! And strange things do happen at the social. You never know who or what is in the next caravan, so join us if you dare!

3rd - 5th December (Pre Xmas)
Barnstones, Banbury
Santa can fit one more rally in before his busiest time and he has decided to join us. On Saturday you can finish your Christmas shopping in Banbury or treat yourself to a new caravan at Caravanland. Saturday night is when the fun begins as it is party night. On arrival you will be greeted by Santa's helpers offering sherry and mince pies. There will be carol singing and plenty of dancing and of course don't forget the traditional fish 'n' chip supper. Santa may even come and do a turn on the dance floor before flying off. So come and join us to start the Christmas season with a bang.
